Useful Links: Health Services Executive

This website give the background to the Health Services Reform Programme, including the legislation that underpins this reform.
On the 1st of January 2005 the Health Service Executive (HSE) was established to take over the management of the Irish Health Services. The Health Service Executive is responsible for providing Health and Personal Social Services for the Republic of Ireland.

HSE Health Management's (formerly Office for Health Management - OHM) mission is to contribute to a better health service by supporting people development, by stimulating change in the way things are done and by helping the whole system to improve.
