Western Care Association is delighted to announce that we are eligible to compete in the AIB Community €1 Million Fund, giving us the opportunity to secure €20,000.
The AIB Community €1 Million Fund is a public nomination campaign, with the top six charities in Connacht receiving funding. This means every single nomination can make a real difference in helping Western Care secure a top place.
If successful, the funding will go towards developing a sensory room in our Vocational Training Centre. The sensory room will provide a safe, calming, and supportive environment for people with complex support needs, helping to reduce anxiety, support emotional regulation, and promote wellbeing.
We are asking our staff, families, friends, and local communities to support the campaign by submitting a nomination and sharing it with others.
