Minister Rabbitte officially opens new location for people supported by Western Care Association in Mayo

Western Care welcomed Minister Anne Rabbitte to Ballina 21st June for the official opening of Compass Corner which supports young persons aged 18–25 through a life skills program whereby participants engage in a process of self-paced discovery increasing their independence in life skills and enhancing inclusion in their local community.

Minister Rabbitte also visited a Farm at Lowvalley Crossmolina where they offer placements to people we support through the National Programme with Social farming Ireland.

This was a very happy and enjoyable day for participants, staff and all who attended the event.
